Before you send that first email or make that call, you need to do your homework. A generic message is easily ignored. A message that shows you've actually looked at their business is impossible to overlook.
Look at their "About Us" page. How long have they been in business? Is it a family-owned shop? What is their mission? Mentioning a specific detail about their history builds instant rapport.
Do they value "Integrity," "Speed," or "Quality"? If you can mirror their values in your approach, you've already won half the battle. You aren't just selling; you're aligning.
